  Five Easy Kitchen Cleaning Tips

Thinking about doing some kitchen cleaning this weekend? This can be an overwhelming job. We’ve put together five easy kitchen cleaning tips to make this task a little easier.

  • Easy Oven Cleaning - Check your oven and see if it has an auto clean cycle. This can be the easiest way to get the inside of that oven clean and fresh once again. Just remember, you will likely need to ventilate your kitchen because the fumes from this can be overwhelming.

  • Use Your Dishwasher - You may be surprised to find that many of your refrigerator shelves can fit in the dishwasher. Wash these one or two at a time in your dishwasher and get them sparkling clean with ease.

  • Get Rid of Unneeded Items - If you have lids with no bowls, stained storage containers or bent forks, why are you holding on to them? These unneeded items make it harder to keep your kitchen clean. It’s time to do a purge and donate or dispose of unneeded items. You may have more space in your kitchen than you thought!

  • Share the Wealth - When is the last time you cleaned out your food cupboards? Clean out items that you don’t think you’ll eat and if they are in date and shelf-stable, share with a local food bank. You’re doing something nice for the community and your kitchen!

  • Clean with What You Have - You can clean your counters with vinegar and hot water, use baking soda to remove stains and lemon peel is a great way to help your kitchen smell nice and fresh too.

As you can see, there are a lot of things that you can do to keep that kitchen looking its very best. It’s time to get started. Along side this Carnations Cleaning Service can help you with kitchen cleaning and other household cleaning tasks. We are ready to help you!
